Scantool SRS Airbag info
Ok, I've spent an hour searching, and can't find anything about codes for the scantool for the SRS airbag section.
Jason said that he would post the codes, but I couldn't find them.
I've got a 29 - unknown trouble code, and would like to know where to start.
Also, I don't get anything for the ABS section, is that only for the C4?

I had written my own diagnostic software and just never got around to creating a text file for Doug's software, sorry.
Fault Code 29
Left front sensor
Line resistance too high
Check front sensor at plug connection with ohmmeter
1. Ohmmeter at terminal 1 and terminal 2
Display 10 kOhms
2. Ohmmeter at terminal 2 and terminal 3
Display 0...0.5 kOhms
If measured values are within tolerance, renew the control unit; if out of tolerance, renew the front sensor.
All you might need to do is clean the pin contacts on the connector, erase the codes and it should be good to go.
Correct, the C2 ABS controller does not have L & K lines wired up so the Bosch Hammer cannot interrogate it.

Well, now I've got the Anti-Lock and the light below it both on in my C2. The scantool won't read the codes, but in Adrian's book it mentions that the hammer can be used to read the fault memory of the control unit.
Does the scantool have the capability to at least read the codes from the C2 ABS system?

Did you compile a list of codes?
Thanks for your post!

Adrians book at page 410 gives you the layout of the abs connector pins for checking with a multimeter, note there is a typo for the left front sensor , it is pins 4 and 6 not 4 and 5..
My B\rake pad warning and ABS light were on and it turned out to be the wire from the connector block that runs into the fenderwell, spliced new section in no more lights
once the fault is corrected the lights go out..
