Just bought my second 964- '90 C2. Slate Grey with grey int, 127k miles (new top end 7k ago) RS clutch, but otherwise pretty stock.

Keeping the Polar but bringing it to Nassau. It will be track de-emphasized. The Grey (pics to follow) will be track emphasized and will stay in Atl.

C4S is gone.

I really like these cars- nothing wrong with 993 of course but the 964 somehow to me is more fun (a little less refined)- I like that.

BTW- many thanks to Kenny (kgorman) for vetting the car in Calif.- couldn't have done it without him.

David,

Congratulations on the new car. I too bought my second 964 recently (May). My new one will be my weekend toy and DE car.

Yes, having a track and street 964 definitely seems to be the right approach. I just may have to pick up a daily driver, myself.

Congrats! Sounds like you've purchased a solid car.

I think so. It looks good on paper and Kenny says it seems like a good example.
Having a PPI done nonetheless.

p.s. I don't think the 993 guys took it well- they're not talking to me.

The 993 C4S (and TT) was and is the prettiest P-Car ever made IMHO.
But too nice to race mod and then beat up on the track (or even slowly destroy on the crappy roads in Nassau)- thats the conclusion I came to.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss it though. Would like to replace with a TT one day.
