Stroth makes a cool set of 4 way harness that uses a electronic locking mechanism for track and when on the street you can use like a conventional belt system w/the inertia locking system. I bought for my car, but have yet to install. Looks like it will be quite a neat concept. It will allow you the freedom to move in the car just as if you have a normal belt on.

Perhaps it was for a 935, the ad wasn't specific. But if you guys say the 964 versions are made of steel, then I'm sure that's the case.

The only thing I know (I think) about aluminium is that you can't weld it to steel which is where the Matter cages really stiffen up the cup cars, they are welded at all the key pickup points. I think that aluminum requires mechanical attachment via bolting or adhesive like in the newest Jags and Astons.

Your head is not going to hit anything with a half cage such as the clubsport one.......I'd never run a ful cage in a street car.....to damn hard to enter/egress.
