PS: Besides the steering rack(which I have in my car & love), I would buy one so I didn't get that stupid hole in the roof. That's a hard one to overcome in a regular C2 unless you are into P-car mutilation & good with a welder.....
Oh, and I had a seam-sealed, balanced, wrinkle painted interior boot lid, rolled fender lip RSA once but it disappeared late one night outside a diner in Roswell........

I put "Is an RSA worth the money?" into the RL search engine and my computer started smoking and flashed "ERROR- DOES NOT COMPUTE!!", then crashed.
I'm new to 964s and RSAs so thanks for the flameless response.

You can build a true reproduction RSA, but it is not easy. You have to do some home work to know what to do. I was lucky and found someone building a track car from a RSA and I was able to get 99% of everything I needed to build a true reproduction. If you want the details let me know.
Yes it was a lot cheaper than buying a true RSA and the results are exactly the same. RSA premium is due to low numbers and some collectability. The rare colors and fewer options draw the biggest prices.

FWIW, it is somewhat hard to find an RSA with a sunroof delete and LSD; most came thru with the 4 available factory options.

Aw you guys don't know anything. The lack of the power steering pump drive on the right rear of the motor was worth at least 15 hp, not to mention the reduction in gyroscopic effect which is why RSAs turn in so much better. It couldn't possibly be that the non-ac, non-radio, non-sunroof cars weighted about 250 lbs less than a normal C2, could it?

I'm one of the fortunate few also... My RSA has no sunroof and it does have LSD. In fact, mine is a two option car: 1) LSD and 2) AC.
It didn't even originally come with a radio.
ps. Having only the LSD option and nothing else would have made it the ultimate RSA, but you have to be pragmatic about AC in the scorching Texas heat...

We're all too timid to discuss it. Why did you have to bring it up? It's such an
uncomfortable topic. LOL
