Default wheel spacers

Anyone running wheel spacers, front or rear on DE days?
Currently running 5mm front and 13mm rear.
Does anyone have comments or concerns for DE's?
thanks

What kind of spacers?

I run 7 mm spacers rear and 4 mm spacers front at the track but they are the type that just have holes that fit over the studs.

For the street, I use 18" rims that need a 21 mm spacer that have integrated studs but I would not use these at the track as the second set of lug nuts can not be checked.

Where are you guys sourcing your spacers- I can't find the sizes I'm looking for at the usual suspects (Vertex, Pelican, FleaBay etc)..

Thanks for this.
I don't see anything between 7mm and 14mm- i reckon I need 10-12mm.

The rears have the integrated studs.(H&R)
The fronts are the slip-on type.
I would have thought the rears would have been safe and the fronts unsafe.
What is the verdict?

When running the cup 1's 7 & 9's for AX or Street use I am running 6 mm front and 13mm rears the rears have the integrated studs and lip. I didn't like the 7mm front because it left too little lip and left the wheel with no centering lip so I am actually running 2-3mm spacers leaving about 2mm of lip to center the wheel.

I also replaced all my studs front and rear with longer ones. This allows me multiple options. For track use I am running 8 & 9.5 fikse's with proper offsets to fill the wheel wells so no spacers at all.

Here is my lovely wife pushing it at our Pocono AX event this past weekend, as you can see no rubbing even with 235/275 tires.

Anthony, Are you running with the alloy nuts?
Where did you get the studs?

Jerry,

I replaced the stock 45 mm studs with 52 mm front and 56 mm rear so I have no problem with thread length.

I would not use aluminum lug nuts for competition events and i torque the steel lugs down to 100 pounds.

FYI guys, I just got the open steel lug nuts. When I use them on the stock bolts the end on the lug nut is pretty much flush with the end of the bolt after properly torqued. I don't feel comfortable using any spacers with the stock size bolts, but that's just me.

There is enough length to the stock studs to use a 3mm spacer. I would not go more than that. The studs are relatively easy to replace and not to expensive an upgrade. In either case whatever spacer you use make sure at least some of the centering ring is accessible and that the wheel is not using the studs only to center and support the wheel.

If I can't find 12mm spacers, can I pair 6.5mm + 5mm for same (close) net effect?
