Heater fan won't shut off. 89 Carrera 4
My 89 Carrera 4 after using the heat the fan keeps running after the engine is shut off. I know I read that they can run up to 10-15 minutes after shut down. Last fall once the fan at the engine stayed on and ran my battery down. I thought it was a fluke. Now a with a new battery the fan obviously stayed on way beyond the 10-15 minutes. I am assuming a resistor or sensor is bad. Can anyone help and or give me a possible replacement part number? Thanks Dave

Chances are its the relay located in the relay box on the left side of the engine. Pull it out and see if the blower fan stops. I had to replace mine last year as it was original and dated 3/89.

Was yours running on and not shutting off?
