I recently bought a 964 C4 and have a problem with red lights on the dash. There is a separate red light to the left of the ignition as well as two red lights between the tach and speedo at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock position. The red light lateral to the ignition stays on constantly even when the engine is off, key out of the ignition, and doors locked. The 6 o'clock position red light blinks on and off only when the car is running. I have read the owner's manual twice, looked at the Porsche 964 "Technical Data without Guessowork" book, and searched this Forum at length. I apologize in advance if I am missing something obvious but I can't figure out what these lights indicate and how to shut them off. Can someone clue me in?

From your description I'd guess they are not standard lights. All the standard lights are within the instruments - tyere are none mounted between the instruments.

Pictures "might" help but I suspect you migt have to track the wiring to be sure.
