I like the deep dish in the rear, and for the price they're a great budget wheel that might really give a modified car an aggressive stance. I hate the way the wheel looks in the pic but only because it's chrome. I'd much rather have the silver or paint the centers black on those wheels.

opinions??

Sure they're nice but I'm not sure those wheels have had any kind of testing. Mille miglia manufactured replicas under Porsche license and had to adhere to TUV specifications. I wouldn't feel comfortable buying wheels that no one knows anything about...

(See my similar post on another thread) 18's on a 964? Not recommended by Porsche for 964's. Can anyone enlighten me if 18's are after all acceptable?

18's are fine, just check for clearance on the exhaust both sides and the oil line in the right wheel well.

Good price for a set of Ruf's, eh?

Oh, they are Ruff's, not Ruf's. For me, that actually is a red flag, that they are trying to appear to be something that they are not.

Having said that, I am not opposed to good quality, approved replicas. My road wheels are MM Cup 1's, but there is something about this wheel that concerns me.

They are purty, though.

I don't know... Adrian Streather and other items I've read are very specific about Porsche saying "no 18's!".

Yet Porsche themselves fitted 18" wheels on the later cup cars!!! I think this bulletins is a bit out of date now!!

Lets face it, even the new mini can have 18" wheels and I am sure that the suspension on those is not as tough as that fitted to a 964!!

I don't consider it outdated because the cup cars have different suspension hence different parts so if there is another tech bulletin is only for cup cars not for the regular C2/C4.
Will they fit? Sure! Do you want to find the hard way that something broke in your suspension? What's to loose your car?
Personally I believe Porsche wrote that for a reason
-maybe I'm getting older and wiser

RS suspension is no stronger, just has more adjustment.
