oops - sorry - finally found out how to get updates on threads......

Overall this is a heavy car compared to my custom 964 speedster - but when I look down at the speedometer - wow!

FVD do sell the kits - one for track use with 12.3 compression & mine with 11.3
Look here

With all upgrades the RUF company here reckons 330-340 hp and near 400 nm with my set up....

Overall the sound is awsome - the whole rpm range is not dramatically but very efficient.....and therefore it is perfect for downtown driving as well

In the beginning I was sort of dissapointed since you think you will somewhere on the rpm range get the "turbokick" which needless to say doesn't happend hehe
It was first when I took on familiar roads etc I realized that it was way quicker than the orig. set up

But again - as others have stated before - the 3.8 cylinder set on its own is quite expensive compared to overall powergain

Hope this helps

Thanks for the link, but that is just the pistons and rings. I was looking for a 3.8 engine? I guess it is just for rebuilding a 3.8?

Wow, that would be VERY impressive in a 964 (IMO).

Good to know.

Did you buy the engine, or was it already in your car?
