Default Deciphering options sticker

Hi all,

I am trying to decipher the options sticker on our MY1993 911 (964) Turbo (please see photo) and need some help as I’ve come across some stumbling blocks.

For reference, I have been using Charlie Kindel’s (awesome) Porsche Options Decoder site at: http://www.kindel.com/porsche/options.asp , which has helped to decode the following:

018- Sport steering wheel with elevated hub
567- Windshield green graduated tint
650- Sunroof
935 - Seat cover rear RLL
980 - Seat cover - Raff – leather

The ones I haven’t gotten are C26 and X33.

I am also unsure of what the following codes: L38A TR (paint code?), 09971, 09991, 10011 and 10091, represent.

Does anyone know what these codes mean?

Thanks in advance for any help!

C26 is the country/market it was initially destined for, but I don't know which one it is.....and X33.....well I can't tell you that either as I am not at work....I have the info there. From memory I think X33 has something to do with rootwood interior trim.

L38A is the paint (Amethyst Red Metallic) and TR is the interior trim level (light grey full leather)....the 099 and 100 numbers are also exclusive options.....usually extra bits of interior leather trim.

Here's a good color site for future reference on paint codes.

I recommend you get a copy of Adrian's book. It has the option codes listed in Appendix B.

C26 = South Africa delivery

X33 = Isn't listed but it belongs in the interior options section between X30 (dark wood steering wheel) and X34 (painted instrument panel).

Thanks for this guys, you've been more help than the local Porsche dealership in getting basic info on the car!

YYC930 - There's (thankfully) no wood interior trim on the car, and going on Rocket Rob's description, I'm thinking it's possibly the white face gauges... not sure how to verify though. Speaking of which, do you know where I might be able to find more information on the Exclusive options codes?

Rocket Rob - Interesting that it's a South Africa delivery car (it's a Singapore delivery car)... I wonder if C26 is a generic code for all non-UK right hand drive cars?

Also, who is Adrian and where can I find his book?

Adrian Streather participates in this forum. He has written a wonderful book on the 964. Its available through many sources including Amazon.

Thanks for that, I will look it up! Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have it in stock right now...
