Then "Pour shoe" it is!

p.s., I'll still say "Porache."

A friend of mine has been racing Porsche's over 30 years... he told me a story of how the Porsche family came to a Sebring in the 60's and one of the family members pronounced the name it Por esch. He said he was stunned because everyone swears by Por esha..... He later heard it as Por esha from another member of the Porsche family. Who knows......

(... or asking, maybe, our current Vice Plagiarist-elect?)

C'mon, man -- despite this being an admittedly silly thread, "Off Topic" is a better forum to nurse political snarks.
I like this area most when it's 964+owners -- 24/7.

Kadhmus- Ain't that the way: you're either going to come off as an elitist, pretentious snob w/ two syllables, or, w/ the single syllable rendering, a straw-chewing naybob (to those rare folks in earshot who know better).
(I'll brave such chill winds of ignorance and continue w/ two.)
