Default I think I'm being tricked...

After bringing my recently purchased 91 C2 Cab back to excellent condition, getting everything working, performing all the 60k maintenance (runs perfect), adding H&R/Bilsteins, and doing a couple DEs, I'm thinking about a track car for my next project. So I mention to the wife (who loves driving the car around town), that I'm thinking of selling it to start a track car.

Her response...

"Just keep this one for me and buy another"

HUH???? I just know I'm being setup here.

So, anybody have or know of a good candidate for a track car? My only requirements are coupe, C2, solid engine and trans (excellent leakdown, not overly concerned with minor things like clutch, dist belt, minor oil leaks, etc.), no wrecks or Katrina victims.
I would really like to find something with some combination of dead A/C, CCU, Alarm, stereo, tired suspension, worn brakes, etc and/or less than perfect interior/exterior to keep the cost down.

I have a 90 C2 Reb/Black that I'm looking at upgrading to 02 Turbo. Give me an email and let me know what you are looking for. Sorry not a member yet.

Buy it before the end of the week. Then ask her what is on her wish list. Everyone will be happy.

And post pics of the purchase. :-)

I don't know if it's a set-up; after all, you are letting her "have" the cabrio, which she likes.
