Our local Chapter of the PCA NNJR had its 50th Celebration/picnic at Forest Lodge in NJ this past Sunday. We gathered cars from every year that NNJR has been in existence. Unfortunately, the weather did not hold out but we all had a great time anyhow. Those of us who showed our cars received a nice framed picture of our car professionally photographed. I brought my 94 turbo and 928 GTS.
Here are some pictures mostly 964/965 related. I took what I could before the weather changed. BTW my 9 year old son won 1st place in a series of radio controlled car races they had going on. Several hours of children and adults racing for the title and he beat out some of our best instructors. Might have to get him into carting.
Anyhow here are some shots of some of the more unique 964 series cars.
IIRC this first one belongs to the PCA national DE chairman.
The white turbo and 993TTS belong to fellow rennlister's and the gorgeous midnight blue 993GTRS clone was built to factory spec using all factory parts by Protosport here in NJ. The detail was amazing and quite a car, it is owned by the individual who brought the beautiful 94 turbo S Flachbau. I thought you might find the closeup of the Flachbau's tail to be interesting as it is different than the afternmarket tails that are available. The Flachbau tail does not have 2 raised strips down either side it actually has a depressed center section and is such a fine piece of work.
The grouping of cars is later after the rain my 94 turbo next to the 94 Flachbau ,993GTRS clone and Y65MPH's 600+ hp monster. There were many other very nice cars there including some vintage 356's, Carrera GT, turbos, 997GT3RS's and Porsche's of all years. In all we had a great time, if only the weather held out I could have gotten some additional shots.
Enjoy the pics.

Yeah I know, I can't make up my mind what to buy but I did find my sons camera which is what I was using.
It is 50% the camera and 50% Microsoft photo editor that makes the pictures so bad. They aren't too good to begin with and then you reduce them and they get all fussy. This 10 year old PC doesn't help matters out either. Still using CRT with 255mb of ram. Sad as it may seem I used to be a techno junky and just have no time to keep up with the changing world of todays technology. I am thinking of buying a new work PC and camera soon. A better photo shop software would help tremendously.
But I figured better bad pictures than none at all.

At the 45th anniversary meet my old 94 968 coupe was parked next to the Flachbau in the 1994 year corrall-I think it had a RPM license plate frame-I remember thinking I wanted to jack the car up and steal the wheels.

We missed you at the picnic. I was hoping you and Raj would have brought your beautiful 968's. There was a very nice clean 10k mile all original Amazon Green 968 in our little circle. It even had the original cloth gloves in the package never opened.
