Default My new race car...woo-hooo

Well, I consider you guys friends so I can't help but post my new...non Pcar, race car. I now vintage race a Fiat but the need for more speed has now put me in an Alfa GTAM clone. My current cars power to weight ratio is 1/14.4 the new Alfa will be 1/8.8! May be a year before it is ready as I have to build a motor for it but really excited about the project and couldn't resist the post. AND..it is the RIGHT color too

Well, I can't say that I love the styling, but I very much like the sound of 1/8.8!!

Congrats!

Steve,

I like the look also and keep the info coming. It may just motivate me enough to take on an additional hobbie

Awesome car. Being a former Alfa fanatic, my dream car would be a GTA. Are you planning on a twin spark head for the engine? I remember those were almost impossible to come by.

Yes the twin sparks are very rare. I have a friend in Italy who I have sent an e-mail to see if he knows of one but probably not. I can run either an 1750 or 2 liter. With the 2 liter I get bumped up a class and run with the 911's. Will not get to the front of that group but it should be a lot of fun trying!

Beautiful car. I think you need a bigger quadrifoglio sticker for the side.

Old Alfas are pretty sweet aren't they?

I dig the Panasports and the side pipes.
