I like white because ALL Porsche Cup Cars start out with that color...
Also, white is less prone to scratches and swirl-marks... My black 964 is beautiful, though needs 5x the TLC than my white GT3...

Don't scratch it!
My 76 is Midnight Blue Metalic. I took it back to the bare shell and the only thing I didn't remove was the wiring loom. She's Blue to the back of the gauges!!
If I had my time again I'd do it in a solid colour that's easily repaired.
I do like Chris M's suggestion of Yellow.
If I had a white car I'd re do it white. Much easier and you don't have to paint any more than the outside.
Look at it this way, If you re paint it white, that's more time driving and less time in the body shop.
