Default clutch slave cylinder locking washer needed

Anyone have an old clutch slave cylinder that they are discarding?

Unfortunately, I accidently pushed in my clutch petal with the engine out, while rolling the car out of the trailer. Thought I was pushing on the brake pedal. Needless to say, the car did not stop...

As expected, the piston for the slave cylinder ejected. I managed to collect all of the parts, except the locking washer! I can't find it at all.

If anyone has a spare locking washer, or an old, used up slave cylinder, I'd be happy to take it off your hands. Otherwise, guess I'll buy a new one. (I replaced this one 6 months ago!!)

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

You still need the slave? I got one for a 993. In really good shape I can ship to you for the cost of shipping.

Axl - Thanks for the offer, but I found it!

What are you guys lubing the piston with? There seemed to be something like Dow 111 on the seal around the piston.

Porsche uses Klüberfluid 9 R 100 and Unisilikon TK44 N 2, Porsche part no. 000-043-117-00.

Try Sunset Imports (probably half price) or buy some brake lube assembly paste from a local auto supply shop. It is usually available in ketchup packets. You are talking about lubing the internal seal & piston and not the end of the piston that fits into the receiving cup on the release fork? If you're looking to lube the cup on the release fork than you need Olista Longtime 3EP for that.

Thanks Jason. Good idea - I'll try NAPA. Yes, I was talking about lubing the internal seal and piston.
