Default Looking for wheel lock.

Anyone has a set of wheel lug nut and lock that look like this that they are willing to sell to me?

I can send you a normal log nut as part of the deal if necessary.

thanks,
anthony

As a silly question , why ? They are not the finest lock nuts around , in fact anyone can overcome those .

Or , are these some kind of genuine ,old nut look ??

My new wheels won't take the new type of lock and most of the locks out on the market. Lug holes are too small. They are BBS LMs.

Anyone has a set of these wheels? What type of lock do you use?

Antony,

I will try to discover what Porsche dealers in Europe sell as lock nuts that I had from them. Maybe one of the European Rennlisters will know.
It certainly isnt those things . I found two old ones and will try to find the rest .
As lock nuts they are valueless !!

Those are OEM locks. Not sure how effective they are but they stuck out like a sore thumb on my D90s. I sold mine on eBay for good $$ a while back. I'm sure you can get a set at the dealership if you really need it.

There was a set of those locks on my car when I bought it. Two of them came apart, either from age or poorly made. They could have easily been defeated if someone wanted to. I called Sunset and they sold me new locks similar to McGuard locks which are solid with a unique male insert "key" that goes into the lock to remove it. Maybe they have something similar that will work for you.

I have a set you can have. The set is missing 3 of the protective caps and only one key. You still what 'em? PM me with your mailing address.

Later, Kevin
