Default Recaro Topline Seats

I have a chance to buy a set of Recaro Topline seats for a good price. Ive done a search on the 964 page and only found 2 threads both of which discuss how they will fit in a 996 but our cars may be to narrow.

Then I searched the 993 page and there are many threads with installs of these seats into 993s.

My question is, if they fit into a 993 wouldnt it be the same in a 964? Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not sure but if you currently have 964 sport seats in tan, let me know

I think you have to cut off a piece of the seat but it still works. I think its the bolt on the inner seat side. Could be wrong

basically the fit is the same from the 964 to the 993. Almost all of the reclining seats have to be modified. you have to cut off the tunnel side adjuster to get it to fit with out binding.
pretty simple cut off the **** and weld/attach on a washer/etc to the tunnel side and some form of cover. the sliders fit exactly the same as the 993

Thanks for the replies. I thought it would be the same as a 993. Still not sure if I will buy these or not.
Sorry but I have comfort seats in black.
