Motor Meister good/bad/indifferent?

I see a whole bunch of you say no way, bad idea.... but then again I don't hear that from ANYONE that has used them and said they they were bad except for posts from a long time ago. While I appreicate the comments.... anyone recently use them who was disappointed? Else it's hearsay.

But its entirely up to you. Its your motor.

I rebuilt my motor myself last year.
When I first started looking into parts for my rebuild the Motor Meister ad looked great. They were going to supply a complete rebuild kit, and provide the required amounts of machining for a set price.
But when I checked into them on all the different Porsche sites, I felt it was too high a risk with my very expensive Porsche motor to deal with them.
I can tell you one thing that is not hearsay. Porsche motors are incredibly expensive and they require diligent attention to detail. Its not like rebuilding a chevy. A proper rebuild wil cost between 5k & 10k USD. And if someone gets in there and makes a mess, you can double that in the blink of an eye.

I'm rebuilding my 178k '90 C2. Never had any top or bottom work. I have a broken stud on #6 that causes oil leakage, quarter every 1k. Otherwise zero issues with this car.
