Getting the crossover box open

OK, I've read (and printed) Marc Shaw's excellent DIY for getting the interior door panels off, and have been successful as far as I've gone. But (there's always a "but"): I cannot see how to get the bit that covers the crossover box free. I've gotten the screws out by the door handle and at the outboard end, but there's an apparent fastener just forward of the handle that I cannot find and am afraid to pull any harder lest I bust something.
Clearly I am not seeing something, or am being too timid. Clues?

The crossover box is held by two screws from the inside of the door panel.

I have these latter two out, but it feels like there's still something holding on just above the door handle. Might this be the fastener accessible only by pulling the entire panel?

You have to pull the entire door panel and get to the screws attaching the crossover from the backside. You have to pull off the door pocket and you'll have disconnect the door handle linkage to get it off. You have to disconnect the wires to the crossover and window switch (plugs) once you've pulled the panel free. Panel comes out with speakers attached. Make sure to support it properly as the weight of the speaker can bend the door panel. Sounds like the linkage for the door handle is what is hanging you up.
