Hi Fred. I clamped off the wire securely before removing the old switch and crimping on the new. However, the wire SNAPPED off as I removed the clamp!

That IS very helpful. I thought it came down from the trunk/fusebox area!

I will probably have to solder on an extra length also as the breakage means its even shorter now!
