i just installed mine as well (the drivers side last night, the passangers side is yet to do)
I had rennline powercoat them black for an even seathlier appearance.

and with the floor mat on it disapears.

i ordered and returned the pedal boards and pedal covers - no sense adding additional weight (the Alum pedal board is slightly heavier than the stock wood one (45g or so)

Looks good! I like the black too and debated about the colour to get long and hard!

The powder coating looks amazing.

Ya know, I think those covered in line-x would be nice. It would have a bit of grip as well.

How about the noise? Is it much more louder?

Greetings Christian

Greetings Christian
A stripped interior is much louder in every respect versus one with all the sound padding in place: rock noises hitting the underside, engine noise, tranny noise, tire noise...

My car is not as far down the "full race car" slope as these other guy's so I can attest that I noticed no difference in noise (as I still have all the other sound insulation present.....for the moment).

Varsol is a type of paint remover/thinner.

From Google:

Varsol®
What is Varsol®, and what can it do?
Answer: Varsol® is the registered trademark of a premium solvent and is guaranteed for its quality. Uses include thinning paints, cleaning surfaces and paintbrushes, and as an all-purpose degreaser.

What is the difference between Varsol® and regular Paint Thinner?
Answer: Regular Paint Thinner is a "generic" brand of thinner while Varsol® carries a guarantee of purity. As a result, Paint Thinner is usually less expensive than Varsol® but can be used for the same applications.

Can I use Varsol® as a degreaser?
Answer: Varsol® is an excellent degreaser for use on most metals, including automotive and industrial, and as a pre-treatment for gluing.

Can Varsol® be used to clean furniture?
Answer: Yes. Varsol®, in addition to its many other applications, is safe to use on most wooden surfaces. Because furniture has many different finishes, from antique polishes to modern plastic coatings, it is a good idea to pre-test in a hidden area first.

US$165 for the driver's side and US$75 for the passenger side.

They have silver or black available.
