Default 1990 964 my baby wont fire *emergency*

Hi all,

I was about to drive home from work yesterday. So I fired my red little baby up as usual. Unfortunately it stalled after running for about 1 second. Totally dead after that. The starter motor turns the engine, but it wont fire at all. There is no fuel pump sound when I turn the ignition switch, but then again I dont remember whether or not I could hear a sound when it was working.

Fuel pump?
Fuel pump realy?
Fuel pump related fuse?
Ignition related fuse?
something else?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Does it make any attempt to run when you're actually operating the starter (which would point to the DME relay)?

Yep, sounds like the DME Relay - I think it's relay R41 in the front fuse box. Normall about £20 and good to keep a spare with you in case it fails!!
