HEad Stud - threaded inserts

HEad Stud - threaded inserts
Have two pulled head studs, both on No. 1, both adjacent to No. 2 cylinder.
The way I understand it, the Timeserts have identical threads at 1.5 pitch, and the case saver version has 2.0 threads on the o.d., which is superior for the softer mag cases.
I'm wondering if there is any engineering reason why one configuration would be better than the other.
There seems to be a lot of opinion, but not much in the way of support or reasoning. My machine shop plans to do the job with timeserts, because that it what they prefer. Is there any reason I should object? Why argue with success and experience?
Thanks!
