These tyre pressures also apply to winter tyres.
NO NO NO.
Pressures for 16" wheels have a "differential"
Pressures for 18" wheels have a "differential"
Pressures for 17" wheels DO NOT have a "differential"

Porsche handbook says so.
Adrians book says so.
Rennlist members say so.

I have asked why this anomoly on this board before, and no-one seems to know... I think it's odd.

I got that quote off a 964 webpage that comes highly recomended around here.

http://www.porsche964.co.uk/

Worked for me. Don't see the harm in him giving it a try.

John's website is great, but it's wrong if he says that (I looked and coudn't see it, is it in one of the "Running Reports" from a 964 owner?).

Anyway, there is a recent thread devoted to this subject. Click here to read it. You will see lots of posts by many Rennlisters who have tried both equal AND unequal pressure. All except one (who found a 2psi difference worked better for him) agree that 17" need equal 36psi.

As I said, please have a look at the Owners Manual and also do a search on Rennlist for confirmation.

Having said all that, if it works for you, who am I to argue? BTW, are your tyres front/rear same or different brands???
