This is my first post, just got my first ever Porsche, a 1991 C2 . I have been reading this forum for several month and I am very impressed with all you guys and the wealth of information available. I will try to upload some pictures, but I can not guarantee anything as I have never done this before.
I am trying to find out if Canadian imported Porsches have the same transmissions as the European models. My owners manual states the gearings for the C2 to be as follows.
1st 3.500:1
2nd 2.059:1
3rd 1.407:1
4th 1.086:1
5th 0.868:1
drive ratio 3.444:1
So my question is, what are the ratios for US imported models?

Welcome! I believe we already know this Polar Silver car? It has been the object of much admiration.

Welcome Steen –A GREAT looking 964!! You found the right color too.
I LOVE Vancouver Island; we used to regularly vacation up at "Yellow Point Lodge" -on the water just south of Nanaimo.
Let us know if you ever head down south to Seattle or Portland for a DE day!
Cheers,
Morgan

Bearclaw: you are right, I did buy the car from NinetyoneC2, it is now in the shop for a top end rebuild and RS lightweight flywheel/clutch.
MorganB1: I am definitly going to some DE events, didn't know they had any in Seattle, I was thinking of Portland, please keep me informed.
Thank
Steen
