Guys, thanks for your help! I installed the lights on the steering column. I did all the wiring through the tachometer.
+KL.15 is the positive (pin #7)
KL.31- is the negative (pin #2)
KL.TD is the tachometer signal (pin #6)
I tested it today on a mountain drive with a few friends and it worked great! Very well visible in peripheral vision. Best part is that they somehow reflect on the windshield about 2" above the steering wheel so they're always in your line of sight![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
Here's a blurry dark picture of the installed lights:

Here's what mine looks like...
iShift video clip
it's a crappy cellphone video and since the shooting I have calibrated the iShift so that the first light starts at 3500 and the last light at 6500.
..and a big thank you to Rob aka Cupcar#12 (..and yes, I do think you should get a cut of all these sales...) and ThomasC2 also of rennlist for helping me with the wiring.

I have been thinking of a Race for some time now.
How does it feel? Are you happy with it?
I bought one about two years ago and when it arrived I found that it was 320mm in dia, which is too small for me. I sold it on and will look for a 350mm soon.
What size is your momo?
Thanks for the pics and info.

Ilko-
Do you happen to have a more clear shot of exactly where your light is mounted? If you could post one, it would be much appreciated. Like you, I sit very low and mounting the light on the dash - well, I cant see it. I like where you mounted yours...I'd just like to see a closer/more clear shot of where you put it. TIA

Here's a picture of the lights with the stock steering wheel:

I upgraded to a Momo Mod .07 wheel and since it has a much smaller diameter I decided to move the lights in my line of sight:
