Default 964 dash: Leather or vinyl

Ok, did a search found noting...

I'm trying to figure out what is the best product to help my dash against cracks.

What are they made of? Leather or Vinyl?

What do you use to protect your dash?

Thanks..

Mark

I have had good luck with Vinylex (no affiliation). You may want to ask the folks on the Concours forum.

The dash is a polyurethane foam with a PVC (vinyl) skin and some ABS.

I've been using a product by McGuire called "Shine". Use it as well on exterior items like the"smile" and the bands around the flag mirrors. Makes it look like new, but needs to be used every other wash.
