Default Suggested sales price for D90s and tires?

What's a reasonable price to sell a set of D90 rims (6x16 and 8x16) in very good condition (minimal scuffs), mounted to a set of new Fuzion ZRi tires (205/55ZR16 and 225/50ZR16)?
They came with the car when I bought it and I'm upgrading to 17".

I know this is a loaded question to pose an interested buyer, but I'm hoping for ideas from a 'neutral party'.

If interested, pictures of the rims on the car can be seen in the signature link.

If anyone were to look for a replacement wheel set and would rather look for16" D90 instead of 17" Cup's, I would guess $400-$500 to be realistic.

If you get $400 for them count yourself extremely lucky.

I just sold my set a few months back and I think I got $250 for them? I know it wasn't $400. Sat for 3 months on PCA and here to get that.

I guess my original estimate was way off and too generous. Now I understand why my wfie often complains that I am too wasteful.

I tried selling mine on eBay with 50% rubber at a starting price of $300....not one nibble.

They are a very tough sell!

Good luck.....

I suggest that you keep them and mount Blizzak snow tires for winter use. My D90's are in pretty rough shape however for winter driviing it's hard to beat the 16" wheel with studless snows.

Frankly I think they are more valuable than any cash you'll get unless you just can't spare the garage room. Winter/Blizzaks, 24hrs of Lemons, maybe a set of DE rain tires, giant yo-yos, etc.

D90's... sounding like the red-headed step children of Porsche wheels.

(Along with phone dials, and imho, no small number of recent factory designs... But you never heard that here... )

I sold mine for $350.00 2 years ago to a VW guy. They were the polished (chrome) ones, so they may have been more desirable. I've yet to see D90's on a VW.
