Default My last 2 weekends

The garage after my wife and I worked in it the past 2 weekends. The 964 likes coming home to a newly tiled floor and fresh cabinets each night.

Very nice Craig! I have 2 questions. What kind of tile did you use and how did you get your wife to help in the garage? That would be like asking my wife to dig up a septic tank....ain't goin to happen

Wow...beautiful Garage. I am going to have to do some spring cleaning now and get mine in tip top shape. Maybe paint the floor or something.

I love the extra depth of it. Is that a Honda SuperHawk or a VFR?

This is why I hate Americans. My house would fit in your garage (and isn't as well decorated!).

I must take a pic of a typical UK garage for you, and yes, we are envious of american garages.

Thanks for the compliments. Actually it was my wifes idea, I like to tinker in the garage and she thought it would be nice to fix it up some. The tile is commercial vinyl tile from Lowes. Same as you see in schools and grocery stores. Its cheap, I think it was 68 cents/sqft and easy to put down too with premixed cement. It was just a little more cost than a do it yourself epoxy floor, which I have done before at another house and it didnt last. Ill see how it holds up, but it is easily replaced if damaged. I put a thin sheet of plywood under my floor jack when I want to jack up the cars. The cabinets also came from Lowes and are made by Coleman.

The bike is a VTR, Ive had a lot of sportbikes, most were faster than this one, but its kind of like the Porsche, there are faster ones but this one is just fun, especially on a tight twisty road.

Dave, I know better than that. I lived in England for 3 years, you have a gorgeous country with a lot of history, and welcoming people. I really enjoyed my time there. I should also mention England is where I got hooked on Porsches as it was where I had my first ride in one. I later drooled on them at the London Auto show. So here it is almost 35 years later and I have a 964.

The biggest problem we have here now is lack of land so we are squeezed in plus the prices are rediculous because interest rates have plumitted, my house is situated in the southwest of england (10 miles off Landsend infact) and its worth around £190,000 (Not sure what that is in dollars?) but the house is small compared to USA.
