Default Porsche radar detector for sale

This was removed from my 94 C4 - I've seen two 94 C4's that have had this system installed, but no earlier 964's. When installed, it sits above the center console, below the ash-tray area.

It worked when it was removed - just needs to be wired in and installed in the front bumper. Anyone interested in purchasing it? PM me!

Nothing "micro" about that "processor".

Might protect you against a hit from an SA-2... but not a speeding ticket.

Garrett:

I hate to rain on your parade, but I had the identical unit in my C2. It detected every cell tower and liquor store. It detected radar traps pretty well when it was not alarming to tell me my cell phone would work. It is hard to imagine, but in the early 1990s, there were not may cell towers around.

I know you would have a very unhappy buyer even at free if they installed it and found it unusable in town or on the Interstates. Mine went straight into the trash when I pulled it out.

Awaits the "for sale: Porsche cell phone tower detector, barely used and in great shape! Finds liquor stores too! If it could only pick up hookers, you'd have the best all in one unit around!" post

Nope, no rain on my parade - I don't need it, and maybe someone who is an "originality maniac" might want the original detector - then this unit is for them! If not, it will be tossed.

My car stereo tells me my cell phone is about to ring... as does my doorbell at home... hate to think what it does keeping it in my pocket.

Default K40

Thats what is in my 91. It has both a receiver behind the front grill and in the engine compartment.

Hey Peter! Unfortunately Stable Energies has not sent me the feet to weld in for my cage, even though it's been two months since I ordered them!!!! Needless to say, the car won't be ready, unless I decide to just weld it in without the bolt-in feet!
