Default Spoiler Skirt

I noticed today that the spoiler skirt on my 964 appears to have become detached. Here's a photo:

I'm not sure how serious this is: does it need fixing immediately, or can I leave it? I would welcome some advice. Is fixing it a job for the home handyman?

Cost about $80 from a discount Porsche dealer and about 10 minutes top to snap the old one off and the new one on. Rumor is it helps with cooling.

Leave the spoiler just a little closed when installing the new part. If you open it all the way it's more difficult than it needs to be.

Julian, if you haven't found it already, the part number is 993-512-121-00. Easy DIY.

Steve
