Default Age old wheel question for 89 Carrera 4

I have a 89 Carrera 4 with the standard 16" wheels and I am done convincing myself they look fine. The Tire Rack has a set up Cup look wheels. They are 17X7.5 front and 17X9 Rear with a front offset of 52mm and a rear 47mm. If I install them do I need spacer and what size? Will they clear my fenders? I know these questions have been asked before but I am new. Thanks

They should work well with your car. The tire sizes should be 225/45/17 in the front and 255/40/17 in the rear. You may need a 5mm spacer in the front, or install 10mm steering stops. Some of the early cars (89-91) are fine without them though.

I have the same size wheels, branded Mille Miglia and the tire sizes (initially Michelin Pilots now Bridgestones) on my 89 C4. No clearance or contact issues front or rear. Looks MUCH better.
