Default Broken window switch

I broke my window switch yesterday and am unable to get the window back up. How can i get the window moved up before my new switch comes. The only part i broke off was the moving part you push up and down. The back part of it is still there.

Can you trade the switch with the other one (passenger for a driver etc.)?

Or can you take out the broken switch and jumper the wires together for a few seconds to roll up the window?

I think so but how do you remove the switch? I'm not sure if i can just pull it right out or if the door panel has to come off. Does anyone know?

The switch is a press fit . Just pry it out , no need to remove the door panel .

Isn't there a socket to crank the window up manually that you can access behind a speaker?

Think the crank is in your tool kit.

Once you pry out the broken switch, do a search on repairing the switch. Takes about 15 minutes, and using 4 penny nailheads, it's good to go forever.

Thank you Bearclaw I was not aware of that. I ended up just moving my passenger switch. Thanks for the help everyone!
