Default New 90 C4 cabrio owner questions

I just purchased a 90 C4 cabrio with 68,000 miles (I traded in my 99 Boxster) and I have questions - my top has a fold by the rear window (this is above the fabic where the rear window is stiched, is this something I can fix?
What is the best way to check the oil level - by the gauge or dipstick (which seems hard to read)
Thanks

I can't help you with the cabrio window question, but can help with the oil level.

You must get the car up to operating temperature to acurately check the oil. Once the car is warm, park it on a level surface and leave it running. Then, use the dipstick to check the oil level. Once you get a feel for how the car is buring oil, you can rely on the gauge a bit more. The dipstick will always be acurate since it's a metal rod actually sticking in the oil tank.

Good luck!

my cab has that also. It gets it if I leave the top down for a few days but flattens out after being up for a bit and in the sun.
Where are the required pictures of you car
