Default I'm back!

Hi all

Well, after 8 days without a 964 I'm pleased to say that I'm back! After a 250 mile journey in the most horrific rain I'm too knackered to give all the lowdown I'm afraid but I'll post full details and pics of my lovely Guards Red 964turbo in the next couple of days. For the time being the avatar is a teaser!

Suffice to say that I love it to bits - and my god is it fast

I think more photos are needed - and I think you should be organising a SE meet so that we can all see it in the flesh!

Nice one Tim

And while we wait for pics of the new one here's some pics of your old one which is a new one to me.

Hope you don't mind both of your cars appearing in the same thread.

Got some piccies at last. Hopefully they're attached (computer's been messing with me today). And some details...it's not quite standard. As you can see in the photos it's got 18inch alloys which are 3.6turbo replicas I think. They look lovely in any case. It's also got a bit of extra power in the form of a 1bar spring (does this sound right?). Also, the exhaust has been updated with the secondary muffler replaced by a g-pipe. I'm not actually sure what the turbo exhaust system should look like because to be fair I can't see any other mufflers - it's damn loud and pops and bangs even when pootling at 10mph! It's also got a cone induction kit which sounds great. It whistles, bangs and grumbles - lovely! It's so different to my old 964. It seems huge and is pretty intimidating at the moment - cos it's LHD I'm getting used to everything being opposite which also makes it not very relaxing! It sure is making me smile though. When I was leaving work today I was giggling to myself with the thought of what was in the car park waiting for me . Think I'll take the Fiesta to work tomorrow to give myself a rest and build up the excitement all over again!

Actually - to be completely honest - they look OK. There are some colours that I think really need the clear indicators (e.g. black) but the orange ones look pretty good on a red car.

So how fast is it mister?
