Default Looking for an AmD 964 MAF kit

Seems like the AmD kit was the pick of the litter, but it's no longer available.

Anybody happen to have a new or used kit?

Thanks for any leads.

You need to get advice from Red Rooster as he was the man behind the AmD stuff. I was going to go for Motec and then sell mine but circumstances have conspired against that

Simon, sorry things didn't work out for your plans with Motec.

I have contacted Red Rooster. He's been a great source of information and advice, but he doesn't have any of the kits and doesn't know a current source.

It's very unlikely there are any new kits on someone's shelf, so I'm hoping to find a used one.

I've got a 964 MAF kit, which includes a BOSCH 993/993TT MAF, Motronic CHIP, FPR & injectors. PM me if you want more info.

I think you will find that Dave is after a very particular kit developed by Red Rooster some years ago and installed by AmD. Not only is it a MAF conversion, but it also has throttle body alterations and a custom mapped chip. It has proven to gain the most power of all MAF conversions (that I have seen data on) and is much sought after in the UK. There is now a car in Oz running this very kit

Simon, is your car running this AmD MAF kit? What sort of power increase did you see with it?

I run my 1990 C4 with the AMD kit fitted and had it dynoed at 296 BHP with a full exhaust system including the cat and standard air filter, since then it has had a de-cat and I have replaced the airfilter for a K&N panel type.

I haven't got the dyno figures to hand but I do know it made 309bhp on the 9M rolling road. I think the torque was 398nm.
