Does anybody have a source for the Siemens TCA2465 Op Amp mentioned in John's Porsche964 write-up ? I've found that the part cross-references to an Infineon part# but I can't find a supplier. Any leads would be appreciated!

I contacted those folks and they do have them in stock at $32 a piece with 20 pieces per bag, and they won't break up a bag. So it's $640, a little steep for discontinued product. I have a spare CCU that I'm trying to repair.

Yep, also have some OPA544 High Power OP Amps coming. I'm thinking of possibly making a daughter board of 2 OPA544's to go in place of the Dual Op Amp TCA2465, due to the lack of availibilty of the TCA 2465. We'll see that works out.

Yes, that auction was for 8 of them, and I asked specifically about that. We'll see if he comes thru with the deal. "When it sounds to good to be true, it usually isn't" applies a lot to Ebay nowadays.....

I contacted Otto's about obtaining this component, but he never heard of the part # and I didn't persue farther than that, though I do know he works on these CCU's.
