Christian...Of course the prices aren't correct. As my post indicates, its a quote from Ruf in 2002! I'm sure its gone up. What hasn't.

Red...Yes narrow body....I don't run mufflers...straight out from the cats. If you want to run mufflers you can, just need to tuck them up under the rear fender...can be done, my buddy has them done that way.

Red...brought the post w/pics of my car forward so you can see the exhaust tips. The cookie cutters have since been fit up closer to the body as they do not retain much heat and don't threaten to melt the bumper!

An absolut dream!!!

I didn´t take it, because i don´t want red! Now i´m very sad that i didn´t take it that time!

I plan a RCT Evo II conversion on my car too but it ended up in 100K Euro complete and so i make now a turbo conversion by another tuner in Germany but someday i will order my dream RCT Evo II by Alois!
Hello guys !

I'm new on the Forum and I'm living in France.
This Rct RS is mine since more than one year ago. It is a fabulous car (after a 964 Turbo 3,6), but I hesitate to sell it for a new Z06 Corvette.

Sorry for my very bad english, but you know, I'm french

I spoke with Herr Lieb, the Manager of Ruf Manufactury : only 4 Rct RS exists in the world.
Mine is full original except EKS.

Harry, is it Harry Utesch ?

I would like to send a lot of pictures, but I can't now. I'm new on the forum.

Where are you coming from ?
I'm based in Alsace, in the area of Strasbourg.

The Rct is a Sputnik. It is dfficult for me to make a choice. I will change perhaps for a Z06 or for a Diablo or a F575.
Just after buying it, I found a gray ctr1 too. But too late.

Default RUF RCT EVO as a track car?

Revisiting an old thread. For those of you who have driven an RCT EVO, how is this car to drive on the track? Given all the talk regarding the problems with the turbo lag while on the track, I would tend to think that a RUF RCT EVO would be much more suitable for the track than the 964T. Especially shorter tracks. RUF has always had as their numer one priority to keep the turbo lag to minimum and also to make the power come on early and also smoother and more linear than stock, thus making the car much more driveable. I have yet to drive a RCT EVO myself but this RUF way of thinking is very noticeable in my turboR, which has less lag and much smoother power delivery (and comes on much earlier) when I compare how the car behaived prior to the turboR conversion. That's the beauty of the RUF cars - They are very driveable on the street while they still allows you to have fun at the track.

If you click on the link below and scroll down you can see a simple diagram with the TQ curve of a RUF RCT (note, not the EVO version which is even more powerful) vs. an NA 964.
