first off i have did a search and ran through about every post for the last 2 years..
i would like to know what is available as a aftermaket shift **** and boot to work in the 964. the cars interior color has been changed but the **** and boot are still the beige/white color. i have noticed that all of the factory boots conform to a certain shape. can you make the aftermarket momo/sparco boot work and be retained to look like the factory boot. please show me your installs....
i have seen some of the pricey aftermarket porsche only applications and i wont pay the money they are asking...i just think thats highway robbery just because it has the "porsche" name involved..

You might have done a search but.......
Here is what I found and did, remove old shifter/boot by prying side to side (the wire frame is sowed in the boot and boot is pressure fit in the center console) is and cut it to remove wire frame. Any momo or sparco with elastic at the bottom will work. Put the wire frame inside the new boot and press fit it in the center console one side at a time (passenger then driver).

The pic on the FleaBay page is pretty foggy, is the real item OEM quality and did it include the shift pattern insert?
Amazing how cheap it is compared to the competition....

I've used these before, leather is leather pretty much. They dont come with the shift pattern insert. When I've fitted mine I'll post some pics.

sorry, I have no clue. It was on the car when I purchased it....
I have looked around myself, to see if I could find who makes it to no avail....
bummer.
but I do like it just about better than any other 964 ****. No more wear on the actual **** surface from you hand, like the stocker.
