What's the rarest car you've seen on the road?

That is in fact the same 250 GT PF; I recognize the driver's door as being a bit bent out on the back edge. That car always exuded such great smells of leather and oil, just sitting in the garage.

Bugatti EB16 tried catching it on the highway then the next day it pulled up next to me at a stop light I tried to race him but he instantly put about 20 car lengths on me and was gone

This was a long time ago (circa 1990) and when I lived in Los Angeles but I had a Vector W8 pass me as I was commuting home one day. I later learned that my commute was near the factory and the car must have been on a shake down drive.

Rarest car I've seen on the road(actually driving on the road) would have to be my customers Fiat Abarth 750 Allemmano that we fully restored. From what I've been told there's only 2-3 of these in the states and just a handful remaining elsewhere.
Even above some Porsche in the shop, this has to be one of my top 5 drives of all time. It's like sitting in a roller skate and your perception of speed is so overwhelmed by the size of the car that it makes the ride so much fun. Even if it has only 58hp!

Here is one last picture of a happy owner(Sally) taking delivery of the car from us(my business partner sitting passenger).
And that link above....new news to me. What a collection. I'd love to get my hands on that Abarth Scorpion and a few of those Alfa's. the 356 wouldn't be bad either

I work with a guy that drives a Peugeot 505 every day to work. Now thats rare!
He spends his weekend keeping it running.
But the rarest was the FXX that I saw run a Pocono last October.
