Hi Guys,

There is a thread on a C2 conversion to "72 RSR" being done by Zuffenhaus in Charlotte on the Pelican Board. I'm too new here to post the link but if you search Zuffenhaus you will find it.

I wonder if anyone went the other way with the rear flares. Most pre74 cars were without the flares and this is what I like. But will the rear wheels fit under the narrow back? You do not need to put the widest rims there, do you?

I doubt you can do it safely. IIRC the widest wheel used on the non-flared cars is 7" wide with a 225 tire.

Edit:

Just received this months issue of 911 & Porsche world. There is an article on someone who converts 964's into early 70's body style. He does use carrera flairs however.
