Man, you guys are hard core. I guess I should just push these two outside & light them on fire since old American cars suck so bad.

I love my Porsches & nothing beats them on the track but my '66 Corvette has about 100 times the personality & looks

PS: I'd take that Belvedere in a heart beat. Basically the same car as Stephen King's "Christine" It was a '58 Plymough Fury.

Yeah, I have to admit that my wide-body is pretty sexy but somebody has to stir the pot around here occasionally

PS: The Vette really does get more attention but it's a draw on the curviness quotient between the two

If you have ever watched the movie "Christine" you will know why they buried it. And should keep it there.

Good point!

Tulsa isn't too far from here. My 9 year old thought it was "cool" so we may make the trip up there to see what kind of shape this relic is in after 50 years underground.

What has happened to the tone of this forum? <shakes head>

(I think it must be all DaveK's degenerate fault.. )

Roketman, pictures?
I love those big old boats. I just sold my '66 Continental convertible to a buddy in N.Y. He's got a place on the beach in R.I. & it has become our official Summer ride. Fun old cars

Can someone please post pictures when this happens? I would imagine a vat of rust but it would be cool if it had survived.

Cheers,

David

Well, I had planned on being there but we were working on the race schedule today & it looks like I will be @ Watkins Glen for the historic races that weekend. We need to find a local R-lister to go takes some pics to post.
