Exclamation engine carrier soon to fail?

It looks like this one is not too happy, don't you think?

Car has 110,000 miles on it... needs a little bending and reinforcement before it hits the race track, eh? Good thing I caught this!

When you loosen the engine mount nuts do you raise the engine a tiny bit to reduce the stress(?) on the fasteners? Also, there is TSB from 1985 (mentioned in the 964 manuals) that I believe (I thought I had all the 84+ TSBs but I guess I don't) says to use Optimoly HT so that you don't twist the engine carrier when removing the large nuts.

Good thought Jason.... it does look like that could cause this as I attempt to remove the over-tightened nuts (it's twisted in the direction of loosening the nuts). The nuts were on really really tight... I'm surprised that much twisting would occur, but maybe!

I'll be sure to get some Optimoly HT! Thanks
