Default Plastic rear window

Anyone having a god hint on how to buff up my rear window on my Cabriolet. It’s a little milky on some spots. Seams rather expensive to have put in a new one....

I'd try Plexus first. If that doesn't work, try Meguir's cleaner #17 and polish #10.

Get some Plexus (no affiliation) and a microfiber cloth. Lightly apply the Plexus to the inside and outside of the window. Remove the Plexus with lintfree, wiping lint free left to right (don't rub in a circle). Follow again with dry lintfree to remove any haze.

Good luck!

Meguiars makes a plastic cleaner and plastic polish. I'm not sure what you can get in Sweden...

wait, I just searched their site and it looks like they no longer have the other 2 products (Meguiars #10 and #17) but instead have this one:
http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_list.cfm?sectionname=Consumer%20(Meguiar's%20Brand)>Clear%20Plas tic%20Care&sectionID=15101

I have no experience with this one.

On a clean/clear window, Plexus is excellent. I cannot believe how good this stuff is at cleaning without sratching.

EDIT: lol, looks like I was beat to the reply... at least we all agree

I recently bought some stuff on eBay for under $10.00....it really seemed to buff out some of the foggy areas of the plastic rear window....

If Plexus does not remove it try 3M hand glaze, or P21 cleaner. Make sure window is wash first with do dirt, and I like to use a soft cotton towel (not the edges of towel) and move it in a linear back and forth motion. Let it dry and buff it out, again, back and forth, you don't want to rub in circles. After it is done you can put a coat of Blitz or P21 Wax to protect it. Of course the inside is most difficult, and sometimes it is easier if you have some standing outside and telling you where to apply the cleaner, or Plexus.

Not sure if this is good or not, but on one side go left/right, the other go up/down. Works on glass windows to tell which side is streaked.
