Default LATCH attachments for 964?

I am in the process of trying to safely install child seats in the back of my 1991 911 C4. Rather than try to secure the seat using the existing 3-pt shoulder belt or replace the 3-pt shoulder belt with a fixed 2-pt lap belt, I'd like to instead find a way to use the LATCH system to install these seats.

I've read through all the relevant posts in this thread, and a few postings have indicated that this is possible, that there are attachments I can install that will accept the LATCH hooks on the sides, but no actual detail was provided.

Can anyone provide me with info on how exactly I would do this? I am fully prepared to completley remove my existing seat belts in the rear in favor of a permanent child-seat installation -- I would never to put an adult back there anyway.

For your info, this is for my pair of 3-year-old twins that are now old enough that they are beginning preschool and I need to find a way to drop them off in the mornings on my way to work. Any help out there?

I did it in my 993. Order seatbelt end fittings from here: http://www.andoauto.com/hardware.htm and re-use the stock bolts.

One issue you may experience depending on the seat is that the latch clips are too long. Because the belt anchors are so high up on a Porsche, you need very short latch clips on the strap or they'll interfere with the sides of the seat.

RallyJon, good resource!

Also, ther eis a mod so you can add a car seat tether loop (retrofit) not sure what year that became standard on, but the hard point should be on the car.

On my car, I removed the shoulder belt inertia reel and used that hardpoint and the stock seatbelt hole in the rear deck. Not as ideal as cutting a hole in the leather but by running the upper latch tether through the seatbelt routing on the convertible/booster, it is very solid.
