Factory piece looks like this for the turbos. Not sure they make them for the narrow body.

Here are the Techart units for a 964 Turbo. The pictures were taken before i had the paint removed by soda blasting. Chip Foose has a lot to answer for!!

The techart units are a very similar shape for the narrow body cars. The front view picture is coutesy of the HK ebayer who was using my car for his advertising after downloading the picture from Rennlist

I contacted the HK Ebayer about the brake ducts shown in the picture-I am after a similar style - they did not have them.

Can you tell me what brand are they, approx how much, and can they accept a H3 light bulb? (the same as is in the standard 964 driving light).

I'm partial to the one that came on my car. It is an AIR piece, and fits with the lower panels in place.

I bought my 2 pc splitter from rennspeed. If you have the patience to trim and fill (very little). It looks great and was simple to install, just need longer screws.

The nice thing about it was it would get filled with stone chips during the summer, i would remove it durning the winter months and fill and paint again. Easy as pie.

Does it really need painting on a black car? Don't they come black from Rennspd already? Or is the color too flat? Thanks!

way too flat. and you would want to use a bit of spott puddy to fill imperfections.

Whatever your colour of car, just use rattle can paint, you can get colour match from an automotive paint place for less than $20 a can. Should be enough for a few years of fix ups.

the part is made of fiberglass.

to make it fit 100% perfect. You can use the gasket around the bottom of your doors to go between the body and splitter. If not, any shifting from the splitter will scratch your body paint over time. ask me how i know?
