After trying without success to find someone to repair the CD mechanism in my CD-2, I broke down and bought a new radio. I have removed the plastic surround trim of the CD-2 and can see the front attachment mechanism, but I cannot release it to remove the CD-2. Any tips?

Thanks. I was able to remove CD-2 using guidance at URL. CDR-210 is now installed; it's nice to have CD capability again. One question - does anybody have instruction manual for CDR-210 for sale or that they would be willing to photocopy and mail or scan and send as e-mail?
