Default SRS & Seat Belt warning lights

A couple of days ago I hit a slight bump in the road that was in no way remarkable, except that at very instant the seat belt and SRS (airbag) warning lights came on, along with the central (!) alarm light.
Before I take it to the specialist to have the diagnostics run on this, has anyone encountered a similar situation and fixed it?
As the error occurred in conjunction with that small bump, I'm hoping that it's just a loose or dirty contact or switch somewhere, but have any idea how to begin tracking it down.
Any suggestions from the Rennlist fountain of knowledge will be greatly appreciated, as always.

Do a search. There is a very detailed DIY on how to fix the cold solder joints in the warning system (located behind the clock). Others, including me, fixed the problem by cleaning the connectors for the front crash sensors, which are located on the trunk floor just in line with the shock towers.

If you get the fault codes it should point you in the right direction.

I had this same problem a couple of months ago. I cleaned the front crash sensor contacts (connectors) and haven't had the problem for two months and 2k miles.
