Smile RSA Pictures

Hi all,
I have been a member for quite some time, just never posted. Having helped my brother-in-law find an RSA and him having joined Rennlist I am finally getting around to showing pictures of my RSA, a D Class club race car I have run the past two years. Car is competitive and a blast on the track. Over the winter I made a few mods to the nose and tail and sprayed the upper half silver. Thanks to all Rennlisters for the wealth of information.
Best regards,
Steve

I love the slant-nose mod on the front bumper of your RSA. That's a nice looking TR6 in the background too!

I like what you've done with nose. Just a hint of 997 GT3 in there.

Very nice Steve.

What front bumper is that? I like the way, with the paint you did, it looks like a cross between a longhood and a 997 on first glance. Brake cooling ducts are nice, is there an opening for a front/center oil cooler? Hard to see in the pics, looks like a small slot there.

What a beautiful car! Love the front bumper mod. Did you do that or is it a fiberglass one-off?

As the kids might say these days - that is one sick looking car.

Captures exactly why I have always loved the 964... though mine doesn't look like that!

Wink Front Cover

Thanks Guys, the front cover started out as a stock fiberglass copy that I shaped into what you see with the help of an RS splitter that was moulded into place with the ends turned up. I had cooling issues that were later traced to a kinked oil line, hence the cut up ducts and aluminum vs. what you see on the avatar. I don't know if really does much but, I sort of copied what looks like Porsche thinks works for them. I will clean up an respray over the winter to repair duct mods and track rash. If you havent noticed the tail is also 4 inches higher than stock, still 2 inches lower than the rules allow. Once again, don't know how effective it is, however I did cut off over an inch after thinking just how silly it looked. Regards Steve

Very well done. Everything flows well and with the silver paint, it even screwed me up. At first I had a hard time figuring out if it were only the bumper that had work or bumper, front hood and section of fenders.

Very nice
